How can I find out if an item is in stock?

Is it safe to place an online credit card order with you?
The safety of your credit card information is our main concern...that is why when you actually enter in your credit card numbers it is done on Fortune3 secured servers....one of the leaders in web-security.
Well...how can I tell that Fortune3's website is "Secure"
Web browsers can operate in "normal" mode and in "secure" mode. You can tell which mode your browser is in by looking at the toolbar at the bottom of the browser window. If you see a broken key, or an open padlock, you are in normal mode. If the key is whole, or the padlock is closed, you are in "SECURE" mode.

When you surf the Net in "normal" mode, all of the information you type into your browser and all the information the Web site sends to you are visible to eavesdroppers. When your browser is in "SECURE" mode it encrypts all the information between itself and the server. Encrypted information looks like meaningless garbage to eavesdroppers, so your personal information is secure.

You will notice the padlock appear on your browser when you begin the "CHECKOUT" process.

I ordered the wrong size...what can I do?
If you look at the back of your invoice you will find instructions on returning footwear.  Please note that we cannot accept footwear with any signs of wear.

Do you ever have sales?
As far as our regular merchandise goes...probly not...as our prices are quite competitive as it is.

Webmaster note 1/1/05: "Every once in while we will have "one of a kinds" and slightly damaged footwear on sale...but this is very rare.

I ordered a pair and you wrote back stating my charge and order were cancelled do to lack of inventory...

 

Can you inform me when it does come in stock?
We do our best to email people when a shipment comes in containing goods they tried to order.  BUT, we strongly suggest you remind us by emailing and checking inventory every week or so.

 

My credit card still shows the funds as unavailable to me...even though you said you cancelled the charge...What gives????
Unfortunately this happens when your bank is slow in making the funds available to you after we (on our end) void the charge.

Basically your funds go into banking "limbo".

 Grindersfootwear.com can no longer take the money but your bank is slow in knowing this...so it continues to keep those funds marked as unavailable.  From what we have been told it clears up in anywhere from a couple of days to a week or so.
